Human Nutrition Unit
The Human Nutrition Unit (HNU) specialises in intervention trials,
investigating whole foods,food components, bioactives and nutraceutical products.
It is New Zealand's only live-in nutrition trials facility which carries out long-term human residential studies.
HNU is an Auckland Uniservices Ltd research facility, established in 1998 as a collaboration between the
School of Biological Sciences and the Department of Medicine at the University of Auckland.
